From the ranches of West Texas at the turn of the 20th century to today’s aerospace industry, the French in Texas have contributed and continue to impact the economic, diplomatic, educational, and cultural landscape of the Lone Star State. This two-part course explores the enduring Franco-Texan relations of then and now and reveals unexpected connections. Taught by Dr. Marie Schein.
